Towers of Aurum

Towers of Aurum is a free to play tower defence game set in Aurenthal, a world whose gates are closing. Players choose one of four factions (the Oni, the Ronin, the Kitsune and the Shrine). Each faction has its own towers, upgrades and look. Players build towers beside a road and stop waves of creeps from reaching the ember at its end. The game runs in the browser and is in open beta. The game has a Story Mode of chapters and pages across the world, with each page played on its own map. Quick Play offers Full Runs, 10 wave Quick Runs and Endless runs, alone or with friends. Ranked 4v4 pits two teams of four against each other, with sends, divisions from Bronze to Challenger and seasons. Monthly Endless leaderboards cover Solo and Team of 4. Players earn Neons to buy permanent power-ups and to level up their factions and towers, while Ember Shards bought in the shop unlock cosmetic tower skins that do not change how towers fight.
