Overview

SOLAR is a free browser game where you fly a spaceship through the real Solar System, and you can fly it by talking to it: say "take off", "dock" or "land on the Moon" and the ship shows what it heard and does it, or tells you why it can't right now. You start in the cockpit on a real launch pad on Earth, haul cargo to the ISS, let the autodock bring you onto its port, land on the Moon and fly out to the James Webb and Hubble space telescopes. Planet positions come from JPL orbital elements, every flight follows Newtonian physics, and a hold-to-boost time accelerator compresses days of flight into seconds. Built solo in Three.js; runs in any modern browser with no install and no sign-up.
