Overview
Soccer Sim is a single-player football club management game played in a web browser. Management centers on decisions made before a season: recruiting and selling fictional players, selecting a squad, developing young players, investing in facilities, and balancing transfer fees against annual wages. A whole season is simulated at once, and league standings, player performances, and club finances inform the next year’s decisions. Mirai, a fictional club-management assistant, introduces the systems. Player career records span all clubs in Japan and overseas, allowing users to research potential signings and follow players after a transfer. The starting club is in Japan’s first, second, or third division. Meeting progression requirements can unlock entry of that club into a foreign league, including lower-tier destinations, or acquisition and management of overseas clubs as a separate system. A championship in a Tier 1 overseas league is a possible long-term objective.
