Overview
Second Screen Soccer is a browser-based online football (soccer) management game. Players run their own club: they build a squad, set formations, line-ups and a play style, and manage player stamina, injuries and suspensions. Matches are simulated by the server and can be followed live in a top-down 2D view. Squads are built through a transfer market where managers buy and sell players with in-game coins, both with the system and directly with each other. Competitive modes include leagues and cups with divisions based on player skill, open tournaments, and an Arena mode with continuous matchmaking. Single-player content includes map-based and staged campaigns, some of them inspired by historical club seasons, and the Super Seasons Saga, a procedurally generated campaign with no end. Clubs can unlock cosmetic items such as goal celebrations and stadium upgrades. The game is available in multiple languages and runs on desktop and mobile browsers.
