Overview
Orbis Alterni is a text-based grand strategy game. Pick a time period like the Napoleonic Wars, WW2 or the Cold War, run any nation as its leader, and write your orders in plain language. The world decides how to respond, and each turn comes back as a newspaper. There are no scripts and no fixed metrics, so history goes wherever you take it. You can even call other countries' diplomats or your own staff by voice, and those conversations actually change what happens next. Play solo or with friends, right in your browser, free to start.
