In The Pawn, The Pawn is an illustrated text adventure game set in the magical world of Kerovnia during a period of tremendous social upheaval. The package includes a novella complete with map and decipherable hints, which are accessed by typing 'hint' followed by the code into the computer. Therefore, those with a pirated copy would struggle to complete the game. Requires 64k, so will not run on an Atari 400/800 but will need an 800 XL or 65/130 XE.
