In Afterburner, After Burner is a 1987 arcade video game developed by Sega R&D1 and released by Sega in Japan on July 13, 1987. The player controls an F-14 Tomcat jet fighter. The jet employs a machine gun and a limited number of heat-seeking missiles. The aircraft, cannon, and missile buttons are all controlled from an integrated flight stick.
